I can’t believe it’s November!

Even though my county is experiencing a drought life is still good. Trees are still green, the grass is brown with small hints that it was once green, and we have a little cooler weather. I’ll take it!

I was recently in Reading, Pennsylvania attending a 3 day Zentangle retreat, hosted by my good friend Mary Rose Feldman. We learned new techniques, discovered new tools and different ways to use them, and the projects were super fun.

Needless to say i returned home with more pens and pencils and papers, and frames and a couple of projects to complete. I did have a favorite project, the moving picture

So while I was searching my stash for some frames, i found a small one and thought, huh. I wonder if the project would work with a colored tile and fit the frame. I set to work prepping my materials, selecting my tile colors, and removing the back of the frame. Thats a story for another time.

I was able to complete my tiles and place them in the frame. The project turned out better than I expected. What do you think?

Thank you Mary Rose for another great project.
